Mimic XR / Planning resource
XR project brief template
Turn an XR idea into a clear production brief. Answer ten simple questions, download your notes and use them to discuss scope, timing and budget.
Complete what you know.
“Unknown” is a useful answer. This brief starts a conversation; it is not a contract or a commitment to a price. Avoid passwords, patient records and other confidential information.
Your answers stay in this page and are not submitted or saved by the builder. Download before closing the page. To share the brief, contact us separately.
Before requesting an estimate
- Identify one essential user journey and separate optional features.
- List the devices and environments the experience must support.
- Confirm ownership and permission for supplied assets.
- Include privacy, accessibility, security and operational constraints.
- Agree who will review content and how quickly feedback can be provided.
- Include support, content updates and handover in the scope.
Compare proposals on the same scope.
Ask each supplier to identify included deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, testing, ownership and ongoing costs. Compare the same device coverage and asset quality. A prototype should answer a named uncertainty before the full production budget is committed.
Use the training cost calculator where training is the use case, explore our production process, or contact Mimic XR with your brief.
