360 video production
Give viewers a place inside a filmed scene. A 360 video lets an audience look around from the camera position, making it useful for location stories, guided experiences and training scenarios where observation matters.

A filmed scene can convey a setting and the relationships between people within it. It does not offer the same freedom as a real-time world where users walk around objects or change their behaviour. We establish the viewer's role and the essential narrative moments before choosing filmed, rendered or interactive production.
Plan for a camera that sees the scene
Location access, camera position, crew placement and movement need deliberate planning. A recce identifies sightlines, lighting changes and practical constraints. Equipment and capture format are selected around the delivery target, including whether the experience is monoscopic or stereoscopic and whether a headset screening is required.
Post-production and delivery
The production scope can include stitching, cleanup, colour, spatial sound, titles, captions and final exports. The audience needs clear cues about where to look without being forced through unnecessary motion. Review versions on the intended viewing setup so stitching artefacts, legibility and comfort are assessed before handover.
Define the quote around production needs
Useful inputs include locations, duration, number of scenes, performers, access restrictions and the delivery channels. Rights, releases, music and archive material should be agreed before filming. A short test scene can settle camera placement and sound treatment before the wider shoot is scheduled.
Questions before you brief us.
Is 360 video fully interactive?
Viewers can usually look around the recorded viewpoint. Branching, hotspots and navigation require an additional player or application scope; free movement needs a different production approach.
Do we need a headset?
Not always. Delivery can include a compatible web player, screen or headset. Each format needs its own review for legibility and audience comfort.
Can the experience include captions?
Yes, when planned for the target player. Caption placement, timing and alternative audio or text versions should be defined during pre-production.
What affects the production budget?
Location count, access, capture format, scene complexity, performers, cleanup, sound and delivery versions. A treatment and location references help establish a realistic scope.
