Mimic XR / Berlin
Virtual reality development
Build a virtual reality experience around what people need to do inside it. Mimic XR brings real-time environments, digital characters and interaction together for training teams, brands and experience producers.
Request a VR project estimateFrom a task to a playable experience
We define the user's role, the sequence of actions and the feedback that makes the experience understandable. A training scenario needs different controls and evaluation from an event demonstration or an interactive story. A small playable prototype tests those decisions before detailed asset production.
Headsets and operating conditions
Target hardware affects visual complexity, input, comfort and deployment. We establish whether the experience is seated or standing, supervised or self-guided, and used on standalone or connected equipment. Setup, onboarding, session reset and a way to exit comfortably are part of the production scope.
Worlds, characters and interaction
Production can combine environment assets, lighting, animation, performance capture and gameplay logic. The handover should identify build versions, supported devices and content ownership. Reporting, multiplayer features, LMS connections and remote device management are separate requirements to define at the outset.
Test before expanding
Review the prototype with representative users and the people responsible for operation. Observe whether instructions are understood, controls are usable and the task can be completed. Use the findings to prioritise the next production stage. Scenario count, fidelity, character work and integrations determine cost more reliably than duration alone.
Questions before you brief us.
Can VR be used for staff training?
Yes. Define a learning objective and involve your subject specialists in content review. A simulation does not automatically replace accredited instruction or establish learning effectiveness.
Can you develop from our existing concept?
Yes. Bring a treatment, storyboard or prototype. We review the intended interaction, target hardware and production responsibilities before estimating.
Do all headsets run the same application?
No. Runtime, input, performance and distribution requirements vary. Supported devices and the test matrix are agreed for each project.
How should a VR pilot be evaluated?
Choose evidence that matches the purpose: task completion and errors for training, comprehension for a demonstration, or engagement and qualified follow-up for a campaign.
