AR magic mirrors and virtual try-on

Turn a screen into a shared product experience. Mimic XR scopes AR mirrors and virtual try-on around the product, visitor flow and the decision a customer needs to make.

Choose the right kind of try-on

Face accessories, cosmetics, clothing and full-body effects have different tracking and asset requirements. Start with one representative product and the intended viewing distance. A visual preview is not automatically a fit, size or colour guarantee; the experience should describe its limits clearly.

Hardware is part of the experience

Screen size, camera position, lighting, mounting and available floor space affect usability. We define how visitors enter and leave the interaction, how several people are handled and how staff reset the system. The pilot should run on the proposed hardware rather than only on a developer’s computer.

Connect products with a useful next step

Product assets need consistent scale, colour references and approved option data. Depending on the agreed integration, visitors might compare variants, save a selection or continue on a product page. Catalogue, pricing and stock remain owned by the appropriate commerce system; interfaces and access must be confirmed during scoping.

Privacy and operations from the start

Decide whether camera frames are processed transiently, whether any images are saved and how visitors receive clear notice and choice. Saving or sharing a photo must be a deliberate action. Installation, cleaning, support, content updates and device supervision belong in the rollout plan alongside visual production.

Questions before you brief us.

Does virtual try-on guarantee physical fit?

No. Any sizing claim requires a separately validated method. A visual preview should not be presented as a fitting measurement.

Can visitors receive a photo?

A consent-led sharing flow can be scoped. Retention, delivery and deletion requirements must be agreed first.

Can this run on phones?

A phone experience and an installed mirror are different interfaces. We assess each against tracking quality and the audience.

How is a pilot evaluated?

Observe successful starts, tracking failures, time to complete and whether the next step is understood. Compare results with the existing customer journey.
