Mimic XR / Berlin
Augmented reality development
Bring digital content into the place where a customer or colleague needs it. Mimic XR develops augmented reality experiences around a clear task: inspect a product, understand a procedure or take part in a brand experience.

A product preview, a guided instruction and a public activation need different approaches. We begin with the audience, environment and action you want to enable. That defines the content, tracking requirements and interaction model before a device or development stack is selected.
WebAR, mobile apps and spatial devices
Browser delivery can reduce installation friction, while a native application may suit deeper device integration or repeated use. A headset can support hands-free spatial interaction but changes onboarding and operating requirements. We assess the required features on the intended devices, including permission prompts, lighting, surface recognition and a useful alternative when AR is unavailable.
Production scope
The work can include experience design, product modelling, material preparation, animation, interface development and integration with the surrounding website or application. Existing CAD and photography help establish a starting point. Asset accuracy, file size and loading behaviour are reviewed together rather than left until launch.
A pilot with a measurable next step
A focused prototype should answer a specific question: can people place a product at the right scale, follow the instruction or complete the activation? Agree the target devices and success criteria, test with representative users, then define production and maintenance. Budget depends on asset quantity, interaction complexity, integrations and the breadth of device testing.
Questions before you brief us.
Do visitors need to install an app?
Only when the agreed format requires it. Browser-based and app-based delivery are evaluated against the experience, device support and permission requirements.
Can we use existing product models?
Usually as source material. Models need review for scale, geometry, materials, rights and mobile performance before they are ready for an AR experience.
Can AR connect to a product catalogue?
Yes, subject to interface access and scope. We agree which system owns product information and how the AR experience returns a selection to the buying journey.
What should we bring to a discovery call?
A target audience, one use case, representative assets and the intended launch environment. Include required devices, integrations and a launch date if known.
