Choosing the best VR or XR company is a matching exercise: the supplier needs evidence relevant to your task, platform and operating environment. A striking showreel is useful, but it does not establish who built the software, managed deployment or owns support. This guide uses publicly described work checked on 5 October 2026. It is not an independent league table. Mimic XR is a service provider and is included with that commercial interest disclosed.

Shortlist by the type of work
For learning and simulation, Make Real’s work portfolio includes immersive learning and practical training projects. Lucid Reality Labs presents XR development and training work, including healthcare-related applications. Treat those portfolios as a starting point for asking about comparable requirements, not proof that every project is a match.
For brand activations, Groove Jones presents interactive and immersive campaign work. Its platform overview describes tools for location-based experiences. Ask each supplier to explain the exact work it delivered and the responsibilities retained by its client or partners.
Evaluate Mimic XR against the same criteria
Mimic XR’s selected work describes specific contributions to digital characters and product assets. Those credits should be read at their stated scope; they do not automatically establish ownership of an entire client platform or campaign.
For a proposed project, request a delivery scope covering the experience, assets, supported devices, testing and handover. Use the same evidence standard for Mimic XR as for any other supplier. Do not substitute a client logo for a relevant technical discussion.
Ask for evidence that answers your risk
If the main risk is a large catalogue, ask how asset versions and configuration rules are maintained. If it is training, ask how subject-matter experts approve the scenario and assessment. If it is an event, ask about visitor throughput, equipment recovery and staffing.
Request permission-based references or a demonstration where available. A confidential project may limit what can be shared publicly; the supplier should still identify what evidence is available without exposing client data.
Make proposals comparable
Give every shortlisted team the same core brief. Require deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, review rounds, acceptance criteria, ownership and ongoing costs. Separate a prototype from the production release so the first phase resolves a named uncertainty.
Clarify who provides content, translations, model rights and integration access. Include accessibility and security requirements before pricing. A lower headline quote may simply leave these responsibilities outside scope.
Select the delivery relationship
Assess communication, decision ownership and how changes are handled. Agree who approves content, how defects are reported and what happens after launch. Choose a supplier whose documented experience and proposed team address your most important risks.
Start with the XR project brief template, review our production process, or contact Mimic XR for a scoped discussion. This shortlist is illustrative, not exhaustive or a claim of verified comparative performance.
